Burton Band Fundraising Through GoFundMe

We can all look back at our time in band and cherish in the memory of the great times we had, the friends we made, and the experiences that helped mold us to who we are today. Our band here at Burton High School in San Francisco is looking to you for help in our fundraising efforts to purchase some essentials a band needs to support its school and community. If you can spare a little, please feel free to give and help these students share in the memories we all had when we were in high school band. Click on the link below, donate and share today!

Taking 1st!!

The Burton Marching Puma Band competed in a battle of the bands parade in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco on Saturday the 13th and took their first ever

1st place trophy home! This marks an amazing beginning for a life long tradition for the Burton band program!

BHS Band's First Competition

SF FleetWeek 2014

What an exciting beginning for the Burton HS Band. This year was the first time ever they had competed in a marching band competition. In months of preparation, they took the stage at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park for the San Francisco FleetWeek Band Competition where they competed against 7 other Bay Area high school bands. Only being 4 years old, the band did an exceptional job with lots of support from family and school faculty. They look forward to going back in 2015 with bigger aspirations and with a go-get em attitude.

The BHS Band program has finally added a new section to their marching band and it's the color guard! Coached by the amazing Amy Hou, these fine students are giving the band a new look with their classy choreography and flag work! We look forward to seeing them at winter guard competition!

Band Gets New Uniforms!

The Burton High School Band, since it's conception 4 years ago, has finally got their new marching band uniforms! We would like to thank everyone for their generous support and donations to make this a reality. The band now has an awesome look to match their awesome sound! Go PUMAS!

Congratulations to the Burton HS Drumline

The 2013-2014 school year brought much improvement and publicity to our drumline as it finished it's second season competing in the Northern California Band Association Winter Percussion Competitions. From the six 4-hour Sunday rehearsals to their competitions in Vallejo and Pleasanton, CA, the drumline grew as a family and now know what it takes to get to the next level. Congrats to them all!
